Edwin is driven by passion; he provides the strategic vision and leadership that present the organization’s mission. He oversees all operations, partnerships, and advocacy efforts, ensuring alignment with long-term goals in youth empowerment, climate change, and intercultural and legal advocacy. As the public face of the organization, Edwin engages with donors, government agencies, and community leaders to build trust, mobilize resources, and influence policy.
Nathan Kwenah
Program Manager
Nathan leads the daily implementation of all core projects and he supervises staff and coordinates reporting to ensure all activities remain on track and within scope.
D. Snohtee N. Giwlay
Asst. Program Manager
Snohtee supports the organization operations by managing team logistics, internal scheduling, and staff onboarding processes. She bridges the gap between leadership and field staff to maintain a smooth administrative workflow.
Emmanuel N. Harris
Finance officer
Harris works and manages Youth Action Lead Liberia financial systems with transparency and accountability. He oversees budgeting, financial reporting, and grants compliance, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and ethically. Harris develops financial plans, monitors expenditures, and supports fundraising efforts by providing accurate financial data for proposals and donor reports.
Charles Karbedeh Jr.
Monitoring & Evolution Officer
Charles leads the development and execution of M&E frameworks to track progress, measure impact, and inform decision-making for our organization. He designs tools for data collection, conducts field assessments, and analyses results to ensure that programs are evidence-based and adaptive. Charles also prepares evaluation reports, facilitates learning sessions, and supports continuous improvement by integrating feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Jesse S. Bondo
Procurement Officer
Jesse oversees the ethical sourcing and acquisition of all technical equipment and supplies needed for field operations. He manages vendor relationships and maintains a detailed inventory of all organizational assets and resources.
Emanuel Tehteh
Communication officer
Emmanuel crafts and disseminates the organization’s message across platforms to engage communities, partners, and the public. He manages high-level press relations and ensures all public-facing content accurately reflects the organization’s professional standards. Emmanuel also supports internal communication; a design outreach materials, and amplifies youth voices through creative storytelling and strategic messaging.
Jangar Boimah Johnson
Communication Coordinator
Boimah serves as the primary engine for YALL’s daily storytelling and community outreach. He is responsible for documenting field activities through photography, social media updates, recording, and website management. His role is critical in ensuring that the voices of the youth and communities we serve are heard clearly across all platforms.
Edna A. W. Jacobs
Climate Justice Coordinator
Edna serves as the liaison between Youth Action Lead Liberia and all our partner schools, coordinating school-based programs, the Climate Justice Hubs and legal literacy clubs. She recruits student ambassadors, organizes training sessions, and monitors activities within our targeted schools to ensure alignment with our various projects goals.
Moses Boakai
Environmental Educator
As the Environmental Educator for YALL, Moses Boakai plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between ecological preservation and community empowerment. He is primarily responsible for designing and implementing educational programs that inform mining-affected communities about their environmental rights and safe extraction practices.
Edwina S. McCarthy
Volunteer Staff
Edwina will maintain the professional environment of our office and provides essential logistical support for team meetings and events. She assists with document filing and general administration to ensure the core team can focus on technical project delivery.
